Theological Underpinnings
‘peace I leave you, my peace I give to you; I give to you
not as the world gives’
(John 14:27).

Our work is based on a distinctly Christian theological vision for education which continually places Jesus’ Gospel of peace at the centre of who we are and what we do in the world, being the anchoring point for, and giving experiences of, a wholistic epistemology (ways of knowing).
In the way we interact with each as a Steering Group, in the way resources are developed, and in developing cultures of peace in schools, we believe that attention to three epistemological lenses is necessary - Head, Heart and Hands.
The table below gives brief examples of each aspect/domain.
